The movie from my childhood! My, why I was so stupid then? My dad and I used to find the finale scene so funny. Actually, this scene is very popular in Russia. Sly is a cult hero and Cobra is a megahit here. And now just imagine: the most people in this country know Andrew Robinson for this role bc very often that's the only movie they've seen him in. If you ask them: do you know who is Andrew Robinson? - they will most likely answer: no, I don't. Even if they saw Cobra. They just don't remember his name. He's not a star for them. Russian audience is very oriented towards A-list stars. I can tell you which actors are popular here bc I worked in a movie shop many years. He's absolutely unpopular and practically unknown in this country. But if you say that's the guy who got punched in the face by Sly in Cobra, chances are, the person will smile and say: ah, this one! They love to hate him and laugh at him. And it bothers me more than it has any right to.
