You initially met Hector when you were both children, due to you both being raised in the same neighborhood for years and your families knowing each other. Eventually, Hector realized he could not imagine a life without you and admitted he held no feelings for Imelda. Thus he grabbed his guitar and spent days writing an apology song. After perfecting the song he went to your home and poured his heart into the song.
Thus you became an official couple after making up. Your relationship being nothing short of romantic, perfect, and a little goofy. In a relationship, Hector is a completely different person. He always knows what just to say to make you feel better and always can make you laugh with his famous jokes because he can’t get enough of your laugh.
Not to mention, he gets all his inspiration for music from you. Although he had always been inspired by your presence, your relationship has sparked a fire in his heart like nothing before and he can’t help but to sing about his love for you in every song.
Flirting is his game. Hector cannot help but to flirt endlessly with you, no matted how far along in the relationship you are in. He cannot help himself but to compliment every outfit you wear or tell you how beautiful you look when you put no effort into your appearance. You are perfection to him.
Sometimes the flirting becomes too crude and makes you flustered, but Hector will continue to compliment you hide into his chest due to embarrassment while he whispered Spanish nicknames and words of love into your ear - loving the way he is making you flustered.
Eventually Hector’s songs became popular in the small neighborhood you grew up in. Everyone loved to hear his music and enjoyed seeing you both together at the plaza for performances. Later Hector meets Ernesto and immediately befriends him, them both becoming very close.
Although you were happy for him to have a close friend, it worried you when Ernesto would continue to pester Hector to leave the small town and travel with him to play music - Knowing about Hector’s dream of playing for the world and sharing his music.
Although you did not like the thought of parting, you did not want to stand in the way of Hector fulfilling his dreams and fully supported his decision to tour Mexico with Ernesto. The goodbye was bittersweet, as Hector promised he would return to you and would marry you when he returns.
Before he left, Hector bought you a ring as a promise of marrying you and beginning a family with you. Also claiming that this tour would be his way of earning income for their wedding and family so you don’t have to work too hard while he is gone on tour.
As Ernesto and Hector became more popular through Mexico for their music, you began to see less of Hector at your home. Although you both often wrote to each other, it still did not compare to him being there with you and actually feeling each others warmth instead of ink on a page.
Eventually the letters slowed down, most likely Ernesto throwing away some letters Hector was throwing away because he knew how he felt about you and did not want his song writer to be distracted by you. Ernesto has often tried to make Hector forget about you by introducing him to other women on their tour, but of course they did not compare to you and Hector’s heart belong to you.
Hector eventually finding out about Ernesto throwing away his letters from you and becoming enraged by his betrayal, leading to Hector leaving Ernesto to return home to you - hoping you forgive his absence. Although Ernesto tried to cool the situation by having a drink, Hector could not find face him again and left without a second thought on the next train to you.
When Hector returned, he apologized and begged for you to forgive his absence. Claiming he could not go another day without being by your side - to which you accepted his love leading to a long and well overdue embrace as he lead you both to the bedroom.
Speaking of bedrooms, Hector loves to make love to you anywhere. Even in public places such as a restaurant or a dark alley. You’d find his hand gradually feeling up your thighs with a mischievous smirk on his face. Hector also makes it a habit to have morning sex because he adores the way the sun shines through the windows and casts a perfect silhouette on your body while your eyes flutter open due to his body pressing against yours. He uses this time to whisper Spanish words into your ear while slowly making love to you before the day officially begins.
After spending majority of the morning thoroughly kissing and loving every inch of your body Hector will then take the liberty of making breakfast. Surprisingly he is a great cook and will make anything you are craving. Once he finishes cooking he will bring a tray full of food and juice to the bed so you both can enjoy the morning together.
