Indulge in the irresistible combination of rich cocoa cookies with a gooey chocolate truffle surprise inside. These cookies are perfect for satisfying your chocolate cravings!
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/3 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 large egg. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 12 small chocolate truffles or similar filling. Powdered sugar for dusting optional.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Mix the cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and flour together in a bowl using a whisk. In a different large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is fluffy and light. Mix the egg in well by beating it in. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones and mix them together until they are just combined. Add the chocolate chips and mix them in. Take about a tablespoon of cookie dough and press it down in your palm. In the middle, put a chocolate truffle. Then, wrap the dough around it to make a ball. Do this again for every cookie. Place the cookie balls on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving some space between them. Place the pan in an oven that has already been heated. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the middles still look a little gooey. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way. Powdered sugar can be sprinkled on the cookies after they have cooled down if you want to. Enjoy these tasty cocoa cookies that are filled with gooey chocolate!

Delicious chocolate shortbread cookies with a rich cocoa flavor and mini chocolate chips for added goodness. These chocolate chip cookies are ideal for satisfying your chocolate cravings.
Ingredients: 1 cup butter, softened. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup cocoa powder. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips.
Instructions: Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract until it's all well mixed in. Add the cocoa powder, salt, and flour all at once. Mix until you get a crumbly dough. Make sure the mini chocolate chips are spread out evenly in the dough before folding them in. Roll the dough into a log that is about 2 inches across. Cover it with plastic wrap and put it in the fridge for at least an hour. Warm the oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Before putting the chilled dough log on the baking sheet, cut it into rounds that are 1/4 inch thick. Put the cookies in an oven that has already been heated for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden. After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way down. The cookies are ready to eat once they have cooled down.

It’s National Cocoa Day. And of course it’s cold and so it’s also a perfect day for a cup of hot cocoa. But I’m in a baking frenzy these days. Including making these Swiss Chocolate Almond cookies, to use as holiday gifts. Can’t think of a better cocoa-laden cookie and a delicious way to celebrate the “holiday.” Recipe is in the profile and on my blog. #chocolatecookies #chocolatecookie #cocoacookie #cocoacookies #cocoa #nationalcocoaday #cookies #ediblegifts #dairyfree #dairyfreerecipes #dairyfreerecipe #holidaycookies #hiberbaking #baking #kosher https://www.instagram.com/p/BrSsttaHTT-/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=17eeu8ps98c1d
