Code July Day 1: Past

'This Old House Has Roots'

Yo, chat! I'm hoping to do at least a few prompts of Code July this year. This is also a chance for me to experiment with this kind of simplistic/horror-inspired artstyle.

When I think of the past, I think of the Hermitage. A house that was once lived in by a father and daughter, now slowly consumed by the passage of time.

So I kind of went with a horror-inspired look. Mainly based on Xanadu from Garage Kids and the FNAF 4 Main Menu.

The metaphorical roots of the house stretch long and deep, clawing and piercing through the past and wrapping itself around every event. Despite not being alive, it breathes. It moves through time. Forever a time capsule of days of future past.
