Especailly if tossing her in the Animated Universe.
The great current Magnus of Cybertron having a secret relationship with reclusive yet kind Head Archivist of Iacon. Fell in deep as lovers in their younger ages, but kept secret in order to keep up their function since they both have High ranks.
She was a godsend when Magnus found a bot that understood his actions. Not agree, but understand. She knows he's trying to make Cybertron a better place, even when its slightly flawed.

CODEXA WOULD NOT STAND FOR SENTINEL BEING MAGNUS. She would be waiting for her man (mech) to get up.
Codexa would hear about and be absolutely worried fir Magnus' wellbeing, especially when she heard he was in a stasis coma and wanted to check.
She would not leave his side and no one could move her. Whenever she had a tiny break within her work, she would rush to his side.
And if they tried, she would use her wings to make her look bigger.
Sentinel prime repermanded her about not doing her "function"

Sentinel: growls I am acting Magnus and you will return to the Archives and continue your programming before I arrest you for resistance!
Codexa: vents slowly Yes, you are acting Magnus. And yes,my programming is to the Archives. Yet....
She stands up, walks over and stares him down
Codexa: I seem to not recall any "resistance" you led your comrades into Archa-7. You can act high and mighty all you want, but I outrank you by age alone. You will NEVER be MY Magnus.
