Ev melted against his boyfriend with a sigh, settling into the safety of Cody's embrace and nuzzling him with a soft smile on his lips. "I'm okay, promise," he reassured the hyena, recognizing the gesture as one of checking in on his welfare and offering him comfort and support if it was needed with how stressed out Ev had been recently, especially with three of his half-brothers showing up out of the blue.
Cody was quick to nuzzle him back before pressing a kiss to the side of his head, just trying to make sure Ev knew he was safe and cared for.
"Are you sure? Because if this is too much, we can find somewhere else to go. Cord's got other safe houses and friends that could hide us just as easily," he offered. His brother and sister would gladly follow, intent on keeping the four of them together at all costs.
