this is in reference to one of my older posts but: imagine if its wasnt the resentment necessarily causing wei wuxians eyes to glow red, but his eyes are naturally more revealing of his spiritual connection? perhaps the same or similar thing occured when wei wuxian used a lot of qi, his eyes would glow the slightest bit of gold.

(imagine if wei wuxian used to have warm grey eyes, because his core was always bursting with energy it seemed to almost seep out of him. and when he gave his core away, his eyes became a cold, almosy blueish shade? (not the best at imagining colors so pls bear with me!)and when he starts using resentment, his eyes turned an almost lilac colour from the reddness of the cold, violent energy that lingered in the same places warm gold once existed)

perhaps maybe even when wei wuxian says lan wangji eyes are a light colour, its not just due to their generally llighter colour, but his qi would cast a light on them when he feels passionate, contented, irreversibly in love?

currently thinking about a scene of Vedra and Ia bonding for the first time being like probably the first night after Ia joins the Band and they’re just like walking somewhere and Vedra says something to them and they look at her like this:

and she’s thinking like ‘wow they look like a god when  they do that’ and then she tells them they look like a dog when they do that and Ia is like ‘????? like a dog????’ and she’s like ‘yeah when they go like:’ and then does this:

(in my head it’s like a super forced perspective and it’s very funny)

and that’s basically the first laugh they share together <3
