Inside the MINISO Times Square New York Launch Event

This past Saturday, February 14th, 2026 MINISO held a launch event at their Times Square location to celebrate the launch of MINISO carrying not only the Tamagotchi Paradise, but lots of other Tamagotchi goodies! The event is running until Sunday, March 1st, 2026 if you haven’t already visited!

Julie aka tolovelfromvine was of course in attendance before doors opened at 9:00AM! While waiting in line you can see all of the signage all over the window displays, and Tamagotchi videos played on the window display billboards. When doors open fans were able to see all even more Tamagotchi videos playing on the screens inside, signage, and what looks like a dream. There was a line that brought you through shelves of Tamagotchi merchandise, some of which are making their debut here in America!

The merchandise included the Tamagotchi Paradise Hair Tie Bath Bombs, Tama Mori seals (omg), tons of plushies, Tamagotchi Lip & Cheek as well as multi purpose balm, Kuchipatchi Sofmallow, lots of stationery, Tamagotchi collectibles, and of course Tamagotchi devices! Devices included Tamagotchi Paradise, and Tamagotchi Original.

Visitors were able to get a free Mimitchi visor, along with an exclusive MINISO sticker, along with an Axolopatchi Tama Lab Sticker. There was even a photo spot of a large Tamagotchi Original in Tama Smile shell featuring Marutchi that you could pose in! Julie can be seen posing with Tara Badie, Senior Brand Director.

The best part? Mimitchi was there! That’s right, she was there to see all her fans, most of which were wearing Mimtichi headbands, how fabulous is that?
