How did Martin happen how did Jim get here why is there food and when can he next whine at Martin about it these are the important!!! questions.

when martin first showed up, jim was. downright taken aback by the man's insistence that he be part of jims life. by being part of jims life i clearly mean working in the shop for that stint he did, because the shop is jims life

honestly actually that answers all the questions you might need to ask as to why jim acts the way he does around martin. martin was let into the shop, into the physical manifestation of what jim considers his own being, and reacted with awe and excitement.

honestly, how could jim not be open and relaxed around martin after that?

Aaron's caused me to reread many science fiction books I own, and acquire a few new ones. History books, as well. The general existence of the mun, I feel, inspires reading.

The muse is flawlessly done; he's just the right amount of awkward and acidic. Deceptively frail. I think Martin could survive much more than he knows and, at times, it seems as if that is the heart of his character. I’d like to place him in a singular box of what I imagine thin, inexperienced, scientists to be. Martin fits no placing. I respect and admire that about his character greatly.]]
