"I'm sorry? I'm not human." It was such an easy mistake to make, Roll was designed this way, to be a human first: robot second. This is what Dr.Light had in mind, so when she was mistaken for a human, it wasn't without its reasoning. That doesn't mean it never caught her off guard, especially when her rivets, and joint lines were so obvious after the fact.
"You're not either, I'd take it. You just remind me of one of my half-elf friends who used to live here." Namely, the woman's ears tipped her off, but she wasn't just going to assume that Frieran knew of the other just because they might share a species. That's just rude.
