Virtual Weekly Clean with Clinton River Watershed Council
Clinton River Watershed Council launched a virtual weekly clean program last week.
“Weekly Clean is our weekly cleanup program where volunteers gather to collect trash from local parks, green spaces, and other areas along the Clinton River and Lake St. Clair. During this time of social distancing, we encourage watershed residents to take a few minutes to collect trash around their home, along their favorite trail, or at a local park.
Post a photo of what you collect using the hashtags #crwc #virtualwc #weeklycleanwhy. Please share your "why", as in why you volunteered to pick up trash and why it is important to you. This stewardship initiative is ongoing (not just Wednesdays), so feel free to post and tag us any day of the week!”
