Normandy - Part Three

Without a doubt, the American cemetery in Colleville is one of the most touching places to visit when you’re on a trip related to WWII history and the Normandy landings. The cemetery is located by the sea, as you can see on the third picture, and the view is breathtaking. 

Is it because of the location? of all these white crosses (and stars of David)? It’s peaceful and serene, the complete opposite of a gloomy graveyard.
