The Color Computer Magazine December 1983
A music program from Dennis Kitsz (continuing an article from the month before) was promoted on this issue's cover. The article at the front of the magazine looked at interfacing a Color Computer to the simple "consumer robots" beginning to pop up; the article at the back gave recommendations to people living out in the country, some distance from even a basic Radio Shack store.

This issue promised that 80-U.S. would be published on a monthly schedule going forward. The author of "I refuse to be a computer widow!" talked about when her husband had bought a TRS-80 Model I; the article about "microcomputers in the home" described one with a Color Computer in it. Tandy's Ed Juge, who had once provided a column to 80 Microcomputing before things really started souring between Wayne Green's magazine and Radio Shack, began a column where he described the Model II factory in Forth Worth, Texas, then brought up the latest catalogue and mentioned "there is no Model IV or V." One error correction was credited to Lonnie Falk and The Rainbow.

New software for the Color Computer (which wasn't, however, a full implementation of the educational language Logo) featured in this issue. The cover happens to show a printer added to the system (with a familiar piece of graphical output visible in it), and the issue also happened to feature the latest iteration of Radio Shack's printer line.

Month-appropriate cover aside, this issue was quite positive about the new, white-cased, "official" 64K Color Computer and a "Multi-Pak Interface" that would let you have several "Program Pak" cartridges ready for instant access. (Dennis Kitsz offered instructions on how to hack your silver-cased Color Computer's hardware, in both newer and older variants, to upgrade it to 64K and then put in a better keyboard than even the latest official one.) Both OS-9 and a previous "6809 DOS," FLEX, were examined.
