I had Light Activation Healing clients early this morning. Then I turned to pleasure-mode. Today my pleasure was stepping away from my office and going to a 2 hour coloring class. Then for a few drinks with a friend. 👭 While I was coloring I was thinking... I can’t believe I’m doing this when I could be working on xyz (work). But I knew it was good to take a break and gave myself permission to have in-person conversations, in-person human interaction, see some people I know from my other art class and talk with people I’ve never met before. I settled in and just got into it. 👩👩👧👧 Then my friend asked if I had time to go for a drink and food. I really wasn’t hungry and of course work was nagging me in the back of my head. But I went, because she wanted to eat, share a cocktail together and enjoy some conversation. 🍷🍸 We spoke about all kinds of things, but at one point she was sharing about her and her sister ... and then I shared about me and one of my sisters, Gretchen. 🤭 I told her that once we went to a porno store to buy Valentines Day gifts. Ok this is the short version: I was shocked there was a huge butt plug on display. I never saw one so big and wondered if that’s what it was. So when we were paying for our things, I asked the guy, pointing over to it: is that a butt plug? He looked unamused 😒 News flash: I wasn’t trying to be amusing. He said, yes. I asked how they could use one that big... and asked if it was for home use such as on the couch watching tv? He was even more unamused 😑 and said, yes. 👌 🧐 At that moment I noticed about 6 guys in the store looking at me 👀👀👀👀👀👀💯😳 😯 I turn to my sister and said: you don’t need one of those! -and quickly pay for my stuff -she looks at me 😵 -you b!+@# -me 🤷🏻♀️ Great story, yes?! There were more ☺️ I think taking time for pleasure today was the best thing I could have done. It’s important to take pauses and not only hustle.
