Since I caught the show for the 1st time right before the s3 premiere, I’m still feeling the “YES, IT’S MONDAY” vibe. I do agree that the way they put a brake into Chloe/Luci is a bit jarring. I feel they avoid addressing the ship by putting Chloe on the backburner. I’m frustrated how little they SHOW Chloe’s feelings. We know she’s hurting, but the writers just brush her off like a secondary character and have her solving cases in the background, while other characters do main plot stuff.
yeah, they def do that and it’s so unfair and kind of doesn’t make sense for who they are as writers? like. i know they can do better than this!! which is why it drives me bonkers. we see linda, maze and even fckn charlotte’s feelings more explicitly than we see chloe’s??? it’s v frustrating. i know chloe is hurting, and i know why x,y, z happened - but that is cause i am forming that in my mind from what i know about chloe as a character- not bc they show what she is feeling much. which is where it gets messy imo. they did good in the vegas ep. we need that, but MUCH more.
