Hey! Will there possibly be more coloring pages in the future? Cause honestly id like to apply to one if there will be another part to the coloring zine!

I have considered doing another zine focusing on AUs. But it will be a while before I can focus on another zine and I will definitely want some other people helping me if I do this again. Running a zine on my own was too much,,,

But I’m real happy that this project makes other people happy! And that you want more!

Do applications close on the twelfth or in a week?

On the 12th of July!

I keep making typos and getting dates mixed up and I am terribly sorry for that. There’s only one person running this zine, please forgive me!

For after the accepted participants period, would a temporary discord server help in keeping things like names organized between artists and artwork when submissions start coming in, or would that be too much of a hassle?

I actually have considered a discord server but it really depends on how many people end up participating. If the number’s really small, I’ll probably just stick to email.

But a discord server would certainly help with communication between artists, especially when it comes to ideas. If people know what their fellow contributors are working on, then I’m hoping it will eliminate too many instances of the same episodes showing up in the zine / too many similar images.

is it ok if the recent piece of eddsworld fanart is traditional art? i will also link a digital fanart that was from a few months ago (1-2 months i think-?)

That’s perfectly fine!

Any examples for the application process can be in any medium. It’s only official submissions for the zine itself that will need to be digital.

Right now, all you have to do is fill out an artist application and wait for the results to come through after July 12th.

What is a zine?

It’s like a magazine but generally it’s a term specifically used to talk about fan made or sometimes self published magazine projects. They come in various shapes and sizes, sometimes printed and sometimes just PDF files. (A lot of the printed ones come with bonuses like keychains or stickers). Sometimes the zines are free, or for charity, or “for profit” which means the money from them is split between the zine hosters and the artists.

I love zines! I think they’re a fantastic way to bring people together to celebrate something they love and I love to support them! I think they bring such positivity and creativity and show off so many amazing talents!

Do you have to be a certain age to enter?

I didn’t have an age restriction for this zine but I dunno about future ones. 

I’m not really thinking about or planning anything in the future right now as I have a lot of other things I need to take care of.
