Penny misses Blake’s bow from time-to-time

So Blake will tie one in the back of her hair like Penny does

Penny loves doing nail art, so she practices on Blake

Blake picks at her nails when she’s anxious/bored/etc. so they don’t last long

Penny is never mad at Blake, just disappointed

(That hurts Blake more than her being mad)

Ghira wasn’t sure about Penny at first, but the moment he met her he knew she was an incredible match for Blake

Penny is curious about everything, so she tells Blake a bunch of random facts about Remnant

Unfortunately, this usually happens at night while Blake is trying to sleep

But Penny is very sweet when Blake asks her to be quiet so she can sleep

Robyn was the first of the Happy Huntresses to find out that May was trans

She didn’t tell them before she joined them, but Robyn overheard her yelling at her family over her scroll, and she asked afterwards

Fiona baked her a cake with the trans flag

it sounds cute in concept !! both have their own unique relationships with “personhood” / being human & acceptance by society, feeling marginalized, etc. there’s somewhat of a shared foundation there that some really interesting conversations could come from, plus the aesthetic of the ship is adorable with the dark loner vs the bright sunny one.

plus the name for them is combat kitty & that’s adorable !!
