What does the come-up of shrooms feel like?
You start doubting that the drug is even going to work but then the effects are there, subtle at first but definitely things are changing inside your body. You feel more aware of your skin, and your stomach (they usually make me nauseous). You may experience some anxiety as you slowly appear in this new land that is strikingly similar and yet different from the world you were in a few minutes ago. And then everything goes crazy.
