Unpopular opinion about [insert fandom here]? It's just very pretentious isn't it? Everyone's characterization of their fav character IS the right one, their meta is the right one and most of that comes from the justification that they enjoy complex characters when it's just watered down into what they want to see (I'm looking at you Cersei, Jamie, and good grief Sansa). And for all the hatred towards D&D for not sticking to the plot line not showing us the minor characters no one cares/the majority of anything in the fandom is only on a few centered houses that everyone presumes are the center players (what happened to Queensmoot? What happened to Doran before tumblr's fancast became reality? Nothing that's what)

Any fandom you’re ashamed of being in? Hmm. None really just second hand embarrassment from Cap America/Marvel fandom
