C - A pairing you wished you shipped, but just can’t?

Oh gosh I don’t know. I literally hate 95% of all ships because I find them problematic, they’re really only fanon ships, or else I just don’t care about the show enough to ship. If I had to pick…. I guess Ten/Rose because that was what everyone was about when I was in the Doctor Who fandom.

G - What was your first fandom?

Harry Potter. The original fandom. Like I went to midnight release parties and stuff. I went as a harry potter character for halloween more than I didn’t when I was younger. I won the fifth book because of trivia. Yeah, Potterhead for life.

Q - A ship you’ve abandoned and why?

Like I said I really don’t ship ? Jaime/Brienne is the first ship I’ve had in a long time. A lot of my other ships became canon ? Or I only shipped them after canon so I don’t really count them. I am going to put down this one because my sister will probably be the only one who remembers me during these dark days / gets what the ship name stand for: GSR.

First, I'd like to say I have like 5% confidence in characters being in character. I'm not even trying to connect the dots anymore, usually. However, what the latest ep showed the most, imo, is people who don't know how to communicate. And that is very weird. I often hear that the Winchesters are emotionally stumped and keep lying to each other and while the second had been the truth for many seasons, now, for some reason, the former is true.

I mean, people don't have to spell their feelings out for them to be honest and we've seen the boys tell each other how they feel (even outright!). The "jerk/bitch" exchange? Dean calling Sam to let him know he still trusted him (at the end of s4, where the actual message was changed)? Shutting Sam in the panic room so he can detox? They're all very active declarations of love.

However, what do we see now? Everybody who is anybody sees that Dean is going off the rail and... nothing is done about it? Is everybody that tired? Like, it could be a thing, is it a thing?

I'm very happy that for the better part of the season, the boys haven't been lying to each other. Finally! Dean is denying the influence of the Mark but that's like an addict saying they have everything under control. He's not even saying that he's in control, he's just saying that it is what has to be done. So yeah, happy camper here.

On the other hand, Sam has said he would honor Dean's free will but this is dangerous. Sam even says it's dangerous. It's not even actually Dean's free will, if we're talking about it. He's clearly being brainwashed. I just hope that with his latest lashing out, Sam and Cas will DO SOMETHING.

Which brings us to Cas. He was the captain of a garrison. What with following Heaven's orders and the angels being obedient to a fault, he'd probably never had to give rousing speeches. But he was a commander. We know he was respected. It means he has to know how to lead. So he wasn't a good God. I think it's been established the souls were making him unstable? What is his excuse now?

So Metatron reveals his big dark secret. It has never been stated how big of an abomination such a Grace transfusion would be, but nobody seems particularly appalled by it. I think the reactions were more like "so you had a secret and also you need to save your own skin". That doesn't sound too terrible to me! Doesn't everyone? So why does Castiel simply take it? He is smart, he is sharp and manipulative. HOW HARD WOULD IT HAVE BEEN TO ADMIT THAT YES, HE ISN'T USING HIS OWN GRACE BECAUSE HIS OWN GRACE WAS STOLEN FROM HIM BUT HE INTENDS (or doesn't, whatever) TO GET IT BACK. Metatron is trying to use it against him. Why didn't Cas turn it to his advantage?

Why couldn't he explain Dean's significance to himself? Why couldn't he explain that Tessa's death wasn't Dean's fault? So he didn't have all the details, Dean's still had time to say Tessa had walked onto the knife! Why couldn't he say that Dean was the righteous man? That he was an ally? Why couldn't he say that killing isn't justice? Why didn't he say ANYTHING? Like, you could spin that situation in different directions. 

WHY THE HELL ARE ANGELS SUCH WILL-LESS MANNEQUINS? Cas had an army and all of them walked out without a word? To all of them, Cas' love of humanity is something shameful? So fine, we can't expect a species to live for the sake of another species. But then. I can't believe that in the whole of the army, none of them actually cared about others. That all of them just united around Castiel to go home. It's certainly possible, but shouldn't they be more impassioned about it then? Older than dirt beings, exiled from home, lonely and suffering. Shouldn't they question more? What's with the mindless mob mentality? Aren't they supposed to be smart? HAVE THEY ALL FORGOTTEN THAT CASTIEL HAS BEEN RESURRECTED BY GOD N TIMES?

God, this is the longest I've ever written about spn. Feel free to react to whatever, I thought I had two points to make (inaction about Dean's change and Castiel's leadership skills) but now it's just an endless list of questions.
