Title: A Love Like War Author: boopboop Word Count: 13k+ Status: WIP Summary: Four days ago, Steve was at the bottom of the ocean, slowly freezing to death and almost glad of it. Four days and seventy-odd years later, he’s climbing a palace tower in the dead of night to rescue the Crown Prince of a country that hadn’t existed when he’d shipped off to war. Steve doesn't have all that much experience with princes, but he's pretty sure none of them are supposed to act like Jack. My Notes: I must be honest, I didn't read all the tags before I started reading this fic because I LOVE Boopboop's writing and anything they've written I've adored thus far. All I knew, Steve going to save Jack. But as I read, there's a bit of fun mystery for me as to where the characters are coming from and oh my goodness I'm soo happily surprised and excited for Comic version of Steve! Why this fic needs to be read: Comic version of Steve Rogers Steve climbing the tower towards Jack Steve & Jack's interactions on all levels Steve who is a little lost Jack who railroads the quartermaster and demands proper attire for Steve I super don't like Pierce already even though he just got there.... I'm SO ready for what Strike team Delta is going to do, I mean, Steve, Nat, Clint, Sam and Jack, it's going to be AWESOME!
