An Aside
So, Inksgiving on @tapasapp is coming up soon.
Work and updates on Lapis will proceed as planned, but I’d like to challenge myself to make a short comic in time for inksgiving as well, so I’ll be updating that here as well.
Its a very different direction than I usually go with my stories, but I hope you can enjoy it. I’ve got 18 days to go so this is my tightest ever turnaround. Stay tuned!

I had this really awesome update schedule all planned out for the first chapter of the comic... but I’m currently evacuated and chilling in a hotel with four people and a really neurotic dog, so we’re sticking to the every other day thing, kthxbai.

I just had a really weird thought and maybe I need to make this into a comic or something but I can imagine Hui telling Jin "You need to get laid." multiple times. Sometimes at very inappropriate times like when his girlfriend is over.
Or maybe back in China 200s AD he just nonchalantly not so subtly implies it. Funny, because I don't think in all of Jin's main story, we ever talk about how much he knows about love/the opposite sex/all that jazz or if he ever learned before Meili.
Annd whne it finally does occur, maybe Hui will snap a photo of them asleep and then proceed to tease Jin a lot. And then probably show the photo to Jin's second cousins. Who will either salute him or try not to die laughing because of the situation. Trolling each other since 264 AD.
