Some pictures from ComicCon 2018 in Copenhagen.

Everything in one hall, a lot of loot and a lot of cosplayers to take pictures of. Ran into some of my friends from the D&D group we got, got to hang out with my sister and have a general good time.

Panels and stage shows were all in the same hall, at the tribunes above only separated by some big, black curtains.

Had some celebrities showing for signing and Q&As, but they were all from shows I don’t follow so I don’t remember who they were.

And of course, loot:

Again, tried to keep to a budget without overdoing it too much.

Another portrait to use as memory. Loved the guy who made it, it was a small performance as he made it within two minutes while using both hands simultaneously. Was neat to watch while being painted. Can see his works on BoydComics on instagram.

Also received a free celebrational coin for the con, while given a chance to look at the much more neat real coins sold by the company who provided the ComicCon coins. They had a neat looking Dr Strange pure silver coin, but it sure was far beyond my set budget, sadly.

Was fun though, all in all.

Just a better look at the portraits I got from this year’s cons. I think it’s a fun way to make special souvenirs while also supporting talented artists. I’m running out of room on my appreciation wall tho, dang.

The first sketch was commission at the @papercutzzart booth at J-Pop in CPH. I asked if she could draw me more like a humanoid Eevee instead of just a lame human wearing a hoodie. I think she managed pretty well.

The other was made by a talented artist at ComicCon in CPH, who you can find on instagram as BoydComics. He painted that within two minutes by using both hands at the same time - was pretty amazing to watch while sitting still and playing model.
