And we are back with another commander deck idea!
I was watching some commander gameplay with Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar and became interested in the final line of text.
The activated ability of a creature dealing damage to itself is usually used as a removal spell, however! This is not restricted to your opponents’ creatures!
If, hypothetically I had a card like stuffy doll or brash taunter (which can deal damage to an opponent when they take damage, and are indestructible), then I can turn the creature removal into burn to a players face!
Combine this with an expensive red enchantment that triples damage dealt by a source you control, then it multiplies again from the damage redirection, and bam! 54 damage to a face by sacrificing two foods!
Thank you recent wotc for increasing the amount of black food token makers btw. Half considering trying to make this an Obosh companion deck but it will probably be too restrictive (doubles odd card damage, restricts to only odd cards)
