Hey Artists! For the first time ever someone contacted me for a commission. Iv me never had this done to me so I was excited. He sounded like a geniune person so dont be fooled by that! They wanted a drawing of their 2 dogs and agreed to pay over venmo. After 3hrs of drawing, I messaged them that it was complete and they replied that they wanted my full name and email to send me a check digitally. I told them I only take venmo and they never responded back. A day later another random person messaged me with the exact same inital question which leads me to believe this is some kind of scam. For all us beginner artist, always do research, never open links and never give your personal information! Its not worth the couple of bucks you might possibly get! Hope my experience helps other artist and people!
