A character I made a while back but never really drew properly. She’s the keyboardist/backing musician of a cover band, and also an ancient Mesopotamian Goddess.
Her bandmates (made by my brother and brother-in-law based off of rockband player models they made) include a fey guitarist, a shapeshifter vocalist, a prog-rock wizard who’s actually a wizard and bassist, and a little gremlin man who’s a drummer. I’ll probably draw them eventually too c:
once again, another large project series (though this one I’m explicitly trying not to make myself complete all of them and then have the project stall, instead taking them one at a time whenever i have the drive) of taking some of my ocs and drawing some outfits and stuff for them.
Started with Theta, who I wanted to tweak the design of a bit.
First is her default, second is more casual loungewear, third is a fancy outfit for going out, fourth is her with her Soulward power and summoned axe out (because y’know she has powers and stuff) and the last is her with undyed hair.
a concept for a goblin character, partly to make a goblin character but also to try out some ideas i had for my fantasy world’s goblinoid races.
ideas and stuff under the cut
the one thing I had in mind is that goblinoids originated from some kind of tree-dwelling pseudo-primate thing and eventually split off into three different paths - goblins, hobgoblins, and bugbears. their muscular, skeletal and organ structure is similar but not identical to most other humanoids since they evolved on a different world, and each of the three subtypes have distinct variations between each other (hobgoblins have more common humanoid traits, goblins kept some of their treeclimbing attributes and are also way shorter, and bugbears are somewhat taller and have considerably long arms). all of them have vestigal claws and high arches on their feet, and all of them have tails that vary in length and prehensile strength. They also have double the canines, and black sclera.
there’s also several sub-variants of goblins (and hobgoblins and bugbears) based on what area of the world they ended up settling in. Asra is considered one of the more ‘common’ goblin types and a pretty archetypical, if not somewhat thiccer than average, goblin woman.
