Retro por convicción. El caso de CommodoreZ
I was contacted last month by someone who stumbled upon my website, and asked for a brief interview about the nature of my web design choices. It's worth a read, for those curious about how I put together commodorez.com. The article is in Spanish, so here's the English translation for those who need it (like me):
CommodoreZ.com - Netscape 4.8
Internet Explorer 3.0 on Windows 95, trying its best to render the LEGO gallery on my website and failing. What's funny is that it worked well enough the first time, but upon reloading the page, the CSS all sorta collapsed in on itself. Meanwhile, Netscape 4.8 won't even try to render the CSS and it gives up entirely after the banner image.
This concludes my Vintage Computer Festival East XIX photos. It was a fun year, lots of cool things to see, and people to meet.
If you want to see the whole gallery, you can check it out here:

Netscape Navigator 3.04
LOVED your website!! absolutely enchanted with it. just a heads up - two last pics on robots page are broken and banner "catscape now 2.0" leads to a now deleted vid!
Huh, looks like the shorter cut of that video went away. New, longer version linked.
As for the "broken" images on the robot page, I don't actually have good photos of either, so I just used the Netscape-era broken image icon as a placeholder. It's very much intentional.
Behold, CommodoreZ.com‘s fancy new battery backup.
