This week Susan received this lovely bouquet of flowers from her friendās garden and sent her friend home with apples š from her tree. She & her friend had gotten together to work on a quilt square for a mutual friendās new baby. As her friend prepared to leave, Susan learned her friendās car was also loaded with squash and dahlias to share with neighbors who meet at @highergrounds.bonnydoon to pickup @greybearssantacruz bags of groceries. Susan was so heartened by her friendās generous gesture to their local community, that she wanted to share this small window into her life with you. This gesture is especially encouraging during this time of isolation we are all experiencing by sheltering-in-place. These are the types of activities that cultivate resilience and help us all realize how much better we are together.
