So today was Compassion Sunday 2014. I spoke to my church about this organization and 5 out of 10 children sent to me were sponsored, so glory to God for that! We are working on getting the other 5 sponsored as well. I am so blessed to have been a part of that event and I am even more blessed to be a part of this amazing organization. I cannot express how big my heart is for missions and service work. This is a way for me to step out onto a foreign mission field here in my own town. I cannot wait to see the actual outcome of this event in a few months! God is GOOD <3
Compassion Sunday Sponsorship

i just started sponsoring a little girl in India a couple months ago and her birthday is coming up and i'm just really nervous that i'm not going to be a good enough sponsor! i've only sent one check so far and now i'm trying to think of what to give her for her birthday. i'm sending some pictures of me (so she knows what i look like) some bracelets and i also want to get a birthday card and maybe a doll. any other ideas?? if i have any followers or bloggers involved in Compassion please share your stories with me!! i'm a noob and i'm nervous hah. i just wanna be a great sponsor and really make a difference in her life. i'm afraid i'm maybe already slacking since i haven't been sure on what to do with my letter. and i definitely need to pray more for her! but i've been thinking tonight and happy i finally have some ideas! i'm soo excited to hear from her! :)
Compassion
So I managed to set up my clothes airer, with much difficulty.
I tried to set up my printer, but apparently the internet is the wrong type, or something stupid.
SOOO I need to go and find a USB cable I guess, from Rymans because they didn't send one with it.
Had a great day today.
Church was fun. It was compassion Sunday and I decided that I wanted to sponsor a child, so I have. I was in 2 minds about it initially, thinking I should get a job before I start to sponsor a child. But then I just thought, I'm gonna trust God completely, He says to help the needy and the poor, so I'm going to do what I can and I'm believing that the right job will come along.
The girl I've sponsored doesn't live with her parents, it doesn't say if they're alive or not, she is being brought up by her aunt and lives in Ethiopia. It says that currently her performance in school is average, so what I'm truly believing and praying for is that she can completely excel and do whatever she wants to do in her life. I already care so much for her and I'm excited for what her life's going to become.

My friend from church is going to try to find my blog, because its anonymous it should be harder, but one of my friends has already found it. the challenge is on I guess.

April 10th is just around the corner and that means Compassion Sunday is upon us!!
I am asking that everyone should get their church involved in hosting a Compassion Sunday!
What is Compassion Sunday?
"The purpose of this special, one-day event is to draw the attention of the Church to the needs of the world's poorest children. It's a powerful opportunity for God to use you to share with the members of your family His deep love for children – and show how each of us can intervene in the life of at least one child in poverty through sponsorship."
There are so many hurting children out there, living on less than 2 dollars a day and barely able to survive! With your help we can make a difference in the life of a child!
