yo I thought Caraval was lowkey a mess as well so I’m glad I’ve now heard something about Legendary
like. i liked tella in caraval. more than scarlett. I don’t hate scarlett or anything, but i like tella better, and legendary is from her perspective so. there’s that.
what I liked about caraval was the relationship of the players and legend - that was interesting to me. i wanted to know more about what it was like to be a player. caraval left off with the sisters’ fate kind of up in the air, but it made it seem like they were going to go with julian and caraval and like, become players themselves.
that’s what I wanted from legendary, scarlett and tella being players and more like, behind the scenes of caraval-type story.
that’s not what you get in legendary.
legendary dumps a huge heap of mythology on you out of absolutely nowhere and expects you to keep up nah fam.
