DRACONIS COMPENDIUM
Chameleon Dragon Squamatafictus chamaeleonidae
The chameleon dragon (S. chamaeleonidae) is a member of the reptile-mimicking dragon genus Squamatafictus. Chameleon dragons are known for their ability to adapt to any type of environment, despite a distinct preference for rain forests. They have long tongues that can be used to latch onto prey from afar. They may also use a sleep gas that they expel as a breath weapon to stun prey or foes; chameleon dragons are generally cowardly and prefer flight over fight. Despite speaking primitive draconic, most chameleon dragons do not engage in conversations with non-draconids.
