Alana’s been sitting there in PERFECT silence with Cutter for five minutes now. Neither of them could seem to find the words to say anything right now. She prodded and poked at him plenty in their past sessions, but this time she was convinced that PERHAPS by not talking, she could convince him to say something. Maybe if she didn’t come across so overbearing she could completely get him to pour his heart and soul out.
---------------OKAY, honestly, she almost made herself laugh out loud at the thought. Cutter didn’t seem like the type that would pour his heart and soul out for nothing. He didn’t seem like the type that wanted to do that at all. But in reality, what she really hoped for, was that he would at least say something just to BREAK her silence.
But, it didn’t seem to be working out for Doctor Bloom, and she was starting to get antsy. She glanced up at the clock. Only two more minutes had passed since she last looked at the clock. It made her start to FIDGET a little bit. Today, instead of her typical boot she was wearing a stiletto heel. Her legs were crossed, and with the extended leg she kept putting her heel in and out of the shoe, making a soft clacking noise.
FINALLY she snapped. She couldn’t take the silence any longer. She glances at Cutter. ‘ When I was younger, and I would spend the night at my grand parents, they use to have a coo-coo clock in the spare bedroom where I slept. Every hour on the hour that damn clock would go off. I’ve never allowed another clock like that in my presence again. ‘ She gestured to the simple & plain clock on her wall. ‘ I’m against clocks that can cause a person THAT much trauma. ‘ she smiles.
