In #Stuttgart Germany I attended the #CompositesExpo yesterday. Composites are just cool combinations of materials that make things lighter stronger and sometimes have a lower carbon footprint. Potentially a negative carbon footprint however that hasn’t taken off yet. I showed several prototype skateboard board decks to the awesome companies that were on display and there is the potential for future collaborations. Was well worth the red eye and flight followed by a red eye train to where I’m now at. (In the map everything in Germany looks so close!) The highlight was slide number two in this set where you see a curved piece. A year ago I searched everywhere for a company who could do that. Now they are interested in collaboration.
