I hope this an okay ask for you, and your followers as well! What is it like meeting the actors of SPN? I realized there is going to be a tour or a con next year that I'd be interested in attending but am not sure if I can go do to work and the fact I've got bad social anxiety, so I would like to hear your experience!

I'll list the actors just in case: Jared, Jensen, Misha, Mark S, Alexander, Rob, Richard, Ruth, Kim, Briana, DJ, and Sebastian.

I would personally love to meet Jared and Mark (especially since Crowley is my fav), I've heard nothing but positives about meeting them. People have also spoken fondly of Jensen, Ruth, Rob and Richard also. It can suck liking Castiel because Misha...is, well, y'know (and people have said mixed things about actually meeting him). I haven't really heard experiences about the others so I'm not sure if you or any of your followers met them. Would love to know. Thank you!!

Hopefully you'll get answers from people who have been to more cons and met most if the actors you mentioned.

I myself was at only one con and had one op with Jared and one with Jensen. It was over very quickly and I still don't know how I stayed "cool" and was even able to talk to them.

If you are a Mark S. fan you need to attend his panel. Mark usually strolls through the audience (I was lucky enough that he walked closely past my seat, so I saw him close up too) and he is just awesome.

Depending what con you are attending the amount of people there is different. For example the one I was at - PurCon - is huge with ~ 2000 people roaming around. CE cons are smaller and so is JiB.

Even though I’ve only cosplayed at a con once, I experienced A LOT, I’ve also been In the fandom for many years, so I would like to address some things on behalf of myself and any other cosplayers/fursuiters/anyone else who may agree with these

Please do not take photos of me without consent, it makes me feel super uncomfortable when people do that, if you want photos, please ask, I will most likely say yes, I love seeing people acknowledge and enjoy the things I make!

Don’t poke at, hug, or mess the cosplayers/suiters without asking, folks wearing masks or anything around the face might have limited vision and it can startle them (me included lol), accidentally running into a person is fine, I understand it’s usually crowded

Don’t shame someone based on their skin color, weight, or gender, cosplay and fursuiting is for everyone and it has no limits

Do not be creepy around the suiters, cosplayers, or the people in the artist alley, especially if you don’t know them, I understand if you want to watch them draw, but don’t be a creep and start saying or doing weird things that may make them uncomfortable

Personally I recommend bringing around a small sewing kit and/or a hot glue gun, you may never know when it comes in handy, there are usually outlets that you can plug in the glue gun to!

This may not go for everyone but it’s fine with me. It’s completely fine to have conversations with cosplayers or suiters, for me I enjoy when people talk to me about my character or the cosplay! I’ve had some nice talks with people, good photos taken, and it makes me happy

be patient, when some people have a full helmet or mask, hearing can be difficult, and they may be with someone else at the moment and you might have to wait to take photos or talk with them!

never forget when i was about to meet jeffrey combs and he was on the phone and he could tell i was waiting around to meet him bc i was dressed as herbert west and he kept looking over at me in the distance and i was FREAKING THE FUCK OUT and i eventually got up there w some buddies and i literally couldn't speak i was shaking so bad and he was just like 🙂 okay 🙂

then later on towards the end of the con me and my friends were outside the actor tables and all bc they were closing down- we were just sitting at a table drinking something and he literally walked by and tapped on our table Okay Thanks

Misha Con experience

As always Hellers are going after someone who dared to criticize their Misha experience when it is actually quiet the norm and happens more often than you think.

Obviously invalidating personal experience is their thing.

Cons are awesome

Saw Ralsie from Deltarune running by to chase down a lost door dash delivery. Kim Possible and Ron Stoppable hanging out with an infant on their arm.

Fizzorolli running around Artist Alley asking for anyone who has seen Striker who got lost from the group. Springtrap dressed up as Luffi from One Piece. Mothman just there to offer encouragement for everyone. Eli from Last Of Us crying on stage. Freddy Krueger apologising for scaring a kid. And the older sister of that kid refusing him any photos for that very act, even if unintentionally.

I love cons and cosplays!

My loot!! I went to a con today and I had so much fun!! I went with my brother (but he later leave because he just didn't find it interesting enough) and saw my irl guy friend ™️ there and followed him around, I actually got stuck in the pins stand for a good while because well there's was a lot of people (my irl guy friend™️ knew I would get stuck there because I tend to not be able to tell people to move). After I finally got free from there I saw some more irl friends! And hang out with them, I bought the matcha pocky because i just wanted to taste them and later I bought the Froppy key chain and the yoi blindbox (and as you can see I got Yuri, I was actually going to buy one more to see if I get victor but the boxes weren't there anymore when I returned). After following my friends around (or rather my irl guy friend ™️ dragging me around) I saw some more friends, I even saw my cousin there(and one of my friends from school has now a baby), I saw so many cosplays! I even saw some todoroki and himiko! I actually got to told them they look awesome! I wish I could have taken a photo but I was too nervous to ask them ;w; well, my irl guy friend ™️ had to leave and I followed my others friends around and I found and bought the sylveon key chain, I asked one of my friends where they sell those cute masks and she show me where and bought them, then we got separated from the others and lost them and we passed a good while looking for them (I bought the mini notebook in the process) we eventually found them and found out there was Wi-Fi and checked my messages and tell my groups I was in a con~ someone suggested to go buy things from the artists there and I did, I got a bunch of stickers from each of them, I even asked for a commission! And l got that jyugo sticker since I didn't found anything nanbaka and decided to ask for something instead (I was going to ask for a lovetail sticker but I didn't had a good picture of them TwT) they told to come back in 35 minutes and I went to look for friends, I meet up with some other people and I saw they were drinking ramune and decided to buy a strawberry one, one of the guy who were there teach me how to open it, it tasted very good although a bit too fizzy. Oh yeah there was an Latin American voice actor as a guest star , I forgot his name but I know he has voiced piccolo from dbz, woody from Toy Story and goofy in the Latin American dub. I told some of friends there that I went to ask for a commission and I told them where and one of them asked for one as well! I went to see some other stand and i got a Hello Kitty pen and an Hello Kitty mechanical pencil. After i got my commissioned sticker and followed my friends again and saw some more people and I went to see some more stands and i found this little tabby bananya plushie and definitely bought it, I was considering buying Mochi but it was a little too expensive, I later found tsuyu pin and bought it too and later went to the stand with cutesy things to buy the little pink bunny bag, after hanging out with my friends, my irl guy friend™️ eventually came back and we went to see some of his friends playing yugioh. I passed through a plaza with a lot of bugs and I started to feel my face itchy. My irl guy friend ™️ and I didn't know what to do now and it was getting dark so we kinda waited somewhere while I call my dad to pick me up. After chatting for a bit I showed my irl guy friend™️ my sketchbook (yes I happened to take my sketchbook with me) and he liked the latest drawings I made, then we went outside since my came to pick me up and my irl guy friend ™️ went with me, I don't remember what he said but I mentioned that i could have bought him something as a pay back for when he bought stuff for me in the first con I went but he said it really wasn't necessary, anyway I end up giving him some money for taking a taxi since otherwise he would have gone back inside and ask someone for money, soo I did pay something for him after all. And well that was my experience I couldn't tell it with much details since at this point my mind is kinda blurry for being tired but yeah it was a lot of fun for my second con! 💕
