Conditions ✘ Ronan + March
It was like Christmas. On a good day, March followed the leads to make an arrest on a Black Spade dealer dumb enough to get caught-- but three dealers and a transporter with a bad attitude? The thought alone was euphoric. Something to brag about when going home to Mads and company, stroking that Red Club pride that never left his heart. Almost every Red who had been around before the previous year knew he was still good for it, working in favor of Rebecca without so much as a cent in return. Dare to call it a passion, finding ways to eliminate the enemy.
It was hard not to skip merrily through the DA’s office, but what March lacked in movement, he made up for with the grin he wore so wide on his face. Some could take it for disturbed, but truly, he was just elated. As he came to ADA Bouvard’s door, he nearly grabbed the handle to let himself in. It was a mistake he’d made a few times before, and a terrible one at that. So, he knocked first, and then proceeded to enter.
“Ace! What’s good? No, don’t say it, I know what’s good,” he chimed, sliding over into the chair across from Ronan. Folded his hands in his lap to keep them steady. “How are we doin’ on that case down on Oak? We gonna reel in those shitheads or what?”
