“There's part of me that wants ML to touch upon polyamory as a form of representation in the show, but there’s part of me that doesn’t because of how they treat their already existing representation.”

“I’m kind of mad how Anansi and Queen Wasp turned out. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Anansi, but I just wished the whole “secret identity” dynamic happened in the way the fanbase portrayed them. I wanted Carapace to like Alya but be cocky, snide and competitive with Rena Rouge (and same with Alya/Rena Rouge). Not to mention that Chloe’s reveal towards ALL OF PARIS just to impress her mother was like the stupidest thing she has ever done (and I BET if the entirety of Paris wasn’t dumber than a bag of hammers, Chloe would be paying for her actions dearly).
I would of preferred Chloe keeping her identity a secret and be kinder in her hero form to get a taste of what being nice and a true hero feels like while also being her mean self in civilian form. Also, it would be pretty interesting for Ladybug and Queen Bee to be friends in hero form and for Queen Bee and Chat Noir to have a bit of a rivalry over various of things similar to Carapace and Rena Rouge (to see who’s stronger or compete for Ladybug’s attention), only for all of those dynamics to be the exact opposite in their civilian forms. Sure Chloe would still be a brat, but I would of rather have that than for the garbage we’ve gotten in the Queen trilogy. Also, it doesn’t HAVE to be for long. Chloe can gradually change along the way since she has Pollen (sometimes) and the identity of Queen Bee.
But alas, all of that didn’t happen because to the writers, Nino’s not that important for some reason and the show is slowly becoming the “let’s feel SO SORRY for Chloe and her sob backstory and let’s excuse all of her actions because she’s suffering SO MUCH” show.”
