cc wip, i wanted a simple low-poly deco blanket (there’s lots of nice blankets i’ve found but all of them are high-poly). it won’t be done for a while since i’m being lazy, but hopefully sometime mid-january at least…. like all my other current WIPs haha.
preview for something to be uploaded probably late today…. thick snow on the ground :-D just have to get some sleep before i fix the catalogue problems.

A set of these retail display boxes are coming soon (tomorrow?), I just want to see if I can fix them up a little bit more the way I wanted them. After these wide ones are done and uploaded, I’ll start on the half-width versions.
ETA: still looking into fixing them and working on other CC at the same time, so it might take another day. *stretches*

today i’ve been studying alpha transparency textures for plants and stuff, something i started studying before but didn’t get too far with (mainly i figured out double-sided faces and such now). now i feel like i understand it perfectly fine. this screenshot may look ugly haha, it’s a wip practice thing :-P
i have a few different CC projects in progress, we’ll see which one gets done first (sometime soon). i updated S4S & blender to the latest versions. had a few problems with S4S but it seems functional now :-)
preview for next CC.... display case for candy / toys / other small products for shops. will release different meshes with/without dividers, with/without the “flap” sticking out at the back, and possibly different sizes (since half-width is also normal for these). will probably take some time to fix all the slots and such though.
hmm... could this be some sort of upcoming stackable toy, too? ;-P
learning how to add slots in S4S, made a simple cube just to get started fast and not to over-complicate things. it’s the wrong proportions right now as a rubik’s cube, so i’m resizing it + probably adding some recolours. might be uploaded later tonight or tomorrow. i have more plans for items with slots and stackable deco :-D
