— Tenko had kept good to her promise of protecting her she found. Even if she was extremely cautious, though, Miu couldn’t blame her. She was being just as bad, after all. The Aikido master was encouraging her to at least leave the lab for a brief moment as well, saying she’d protect her still if she did step out. ‘I won’t leave your side for a moment!’ was her words, and frankly, it was a little strange but Miu preferred that to being kidnapped. She hadn’t anticipated getting fake blood dumped on her minutes after stepping outside.
“W-What the fuck?!” The inventor almost couldn’t believe it, though the blood that nearly got into her eyes had proved the reality. Tenko had come rushing out the lab at that, and Miu had to quickly explain that it was only fake blood. A terrible fucking prank, in her words. In any other situation, Miu would’ve pulled away in an instant when Tenko had (probably without thinking if Miu could comment) tried to wipe away some of the blood from her face.
“I-I got it, Chabashira.” In truth, she probably didn’t, though she would never admit that to Tenko. Instead, she had started making away for her bathrooms inside the main building, considering her lab didn’t have any way of getting the blood off. God, who the hell would do that?
🌸 There was an endless amount of things for Tenko to observe here - there was certainly no shortage of entertainment for her when every tiny piece of technology Miu would be using or working on. She wasn’t worried for herself, as this isolation from the other students with her was probably for the best anyways....but she had been growing more worried about the inventor as time passed by. She was attuned to the paranoia, not blind to the way she refused to leave her lab at any cost.
It couldn’t be healthy for her - if nothing else, the lack of sunlight was sure to unbalance her energy...she thought she’d just invite her to sit outside for a bit, taking in the rays of sun she hadn’t seen in a while now.
“IRUMA!” she screamed out her name, the sight of blood sending her in a wild panic swearing she’d only taken her eyes of her for a second. Heart beat wildly as she ran towards her, blood running cold as she reached out her hand to wipe the blood off her face, trying to find the wound -
“B-but why...?” she asked, pulling back her hand as her help was rejected, hands shaking on her lap. She couldn’t understand how people would be so cruel...she was already going through enough.
She couldn’t help but feel the knot in her stomach as she realized it was her fault she’d been met with it in the first place, and that it was her fault now if so many eyes were staring at them with how loudly she had shouted.
“Iruma-san...I’m sorry...”
