@coninae is jonesin’ for Osmosis!
Osmond winced and clenches his large horse teeth, ears lowering a smidge in sensitivity as he turned his head, as Chief Bogo’s voice uttered his name loudly and it echoed a bit off the walls. His baby blue eyes glanced up in exasperation. Guess he found out about that little incident over in Savannah Square; He had decided to pursue Weaselton, who had been ripping everyone off by selling phony DVDs again, and had caused a lot of traffic trouble in doing so.
Boy did he sound mad. Of course, Ozzy was used to it; Though mammals like him got more respect nowadays thanks to Officers Hopp and Wilde, Ozzy still seemed to get the short end of the stick here at the precinct. He couldn’t even count how many times the old cow had hollered at him for something he did. The zebra took a breath, then, putting on his best charming smile, trotted his way smoothly on his two hind legs over to Bogo’s office. He opens his arms, rolling hooves under each other then posing in a comedic manner with an innocent look on his face.
“Heeey, Chiefy-Weefy, wassuuuuu--!”
The mammal then ducks sharply as a newspaper flies over his head, his hooves covering his head and mane in alarm. Bogo picks up another paper, and gestures to it.
“Don’t “Chiefy-Weefy” me, boy; Have you seen these headlines?! This has to be the worst traffic jam to ever occur in the history of Zootopia! What in the world were you thinking?”
The chief kept going though, now towering over the blue and white-striped zebra while face to face with him and poking him a few times in the chest. Ozzy bent back, mouth agape as he looked up at the larger buffalo as he continued on his tirade against the rebel cop. He could feel his angry, hot breath on him.
“I told you to stay put. I told you to wait for backup! But once again, you had to do things your own way!”
Ozzy tried to defend himself as he is finally given some room, Bogo going back to his desk.
“Man, I was right there, I could’a--!”
“Right; Every other animal in this precinct works together, you’re the only one who believes he can do it alone! Ever think that could be your problem, Jones?”
Ozzy rolled his eyes and sighed as he settled into the chair behind him, hooves in his lap as Bogo went on and on with telling him off, the argument being able to be heard from outside the office. The rookie then turns his attention to a picture of his wife on a table nearby, and cringes a bit as the Chief turned away a moment.
