I’m relatively new in my workplace, but I recently found out my manager is super nice and he’s Jewish so he was super cool about me not working on Passover. On top of that one of my supervisors is libertarian or something, so I’m pretty relieved there are some people like me around in what could very easily be a toxic liberal environment
And though basically all my coworkers are men, they’re all very nice (there’s one rude guy who I don’t work with so meh) and we work well together. So I’m sweetly suprised and I hope everyone gets the chance to work in an environment like mine someday
Talk show host Mark Levin accused car manufacturers of removing AM radios from vehicles as an "attack" on conservative talk radio. The post Mark Levin Accuses Auto Manufacturers of Removing AM Radio to ‘Attack’ Conservative Talk Shows first appeared on Mediaite.
He might have a point if conservative talk shows were exclusively available via AM radio. The truth is that with today’s technology, there are many ways to access content, including satellite radio, podcasts, apps, etc.
I think that auto manufacturers made it clear why AM radio was being dropped. Not only are fewer and fewer people listening to the radio in their cars, it seems that the AM signals interfere with the operations of newer vehicles, particularly electric-powered ones.
But since performative grievance and feelings of persecution are so common for conservatives, this was another opportunity for them to grind that axe. Little matter that Levin’s claims are absurd.
If people want to access your content, and your traditional channel for broadcasting that content is suddenly no longer available, then you simply find a different method of delivering the content.
I checked the Apple App Store and searched for “radio”. There are several apps there that will allow you to listen to both AM and FM radio. Levin’s followers can use one of those if they no longer have an AM radio in their vehicle.
