Corellan Halcyon - having gone through the Jedi Knight story - had a history of helping people begin the path of redemption, even himself. He did it with Bengel Morr, Watcher One, Praven, Leeha, Warren and Tol Braga, among others.
Privately, he promises himself to do whatever he can to help Arcann through the process.
Remember that letter Arcann sends the Outlander, telling them that they remind him of his brother, Thexan? He really embraces that. (And not just by wearing Thexan's armor set.)
So he spends a lot of time with him. They spar in the training area every morning. They play Dejarik in the afternoon. Once a week, Senya has a "family dinner" with Arcann and Corellan, where she eventually starts teaching both of them how to cook Zakuulan food.
It helps Arcann get through those awkward first few months serving in an organization that was founded to take him down in the first place.
When Kira joins, she doesn't take to Arcann right away, but eventually she gives him a chance. After all, she's an orphan and Arcann's siblings are dead. In some ways, she knows more about what he's going through than anyone else.
So Arcann has that going for him.
Eventually… there might be a certain special someone in his future.
But we'll wait and see about that.
