I kind of see the argument for Connor/Vikram (ConVik? VikCon?) and I think it’s neat

But let me tell you you’d have to PRY CharLysa out of my cold dead hands.

at some point white mage viktor accidentally ended up with a coneri instead of a jayce in his timeline and he couldn't bring himself to send coneri back as a weapon. so he just held him for a little while before killing him. not brutally, just... a rune carved into his forehead. telling him it's just for sleep. feeling the man's body go limp against his own. let the flowers overtake him and made sure no jayce found him.

i think a lot about if coneri was canon to arcane and his dynamics in season 2 with herald viktor in the commune. especially like, the way the audience might view it. because in my mind if you took their scenes together interacting or speaking of each other and watered it down to the script, it’d seem like they despised each other. or that coneri hated viktor and viktor was indifferent towards him. but arcane specializes in animation details that add so much depth, and voice actors carrying roles. just looking at the script ignores the way viktor’s voice always softened, simplified, when speaking with coneri. how coneri would put his hand on viktor’s shoulder or spine even for the briefest of moments. how their gazes lingered on each other, how viktor’s hands would hesitate like they wanted to rest on coneri, how coneri always bows his head and fidgets when speaking with viktor— how his pupils dilate when viktor says his name, every single time. and although they argue, although viktor speaks of coneri in a muted manner, and although coneri speaks ill of viktor in private, there’s a different story being told in their actions. ughh

“viktor would never love coneri, coneri’s a weapon,” viktor never saw him as a weapon, DUMBASS. he spoke to that man for the first time and realized immediately he was talking to an engineer and it was over for both of them!
