everything that had happened down at the shore had freaked out steve, to say the least. mostly because thinking two years back, steve had been under that lake, getting pulled into the upside down through the watergate. so, when both adam and cole got pulled down, steve’s immediate reaction was to never set foot inside the lake ever again. he couldn’t risk it again. he wouldn’t. he had made his way back to the cabin, looking around at everyone for a couple of moments until he spotted cole. maybe it was for the best if he asked how he was doing. approaching him slowly, steve grabbed two beers as he walked towards cole, offering one as a peace offering. “you look like you need this... you okay?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.

he looked at cole for a couple of moments, chewing on his bottom lip for a few seconds before he decided to say something. “also, can i ask you something?” he asked as he approached cole, looking around for a few moments. “about- about eddie?” he asked. he wasn’t sure what he was going to ask, but he was definitely... interested in eddie, if that wasn’t obvious already. he was sure that some people had started to notice.

Oh my goblins, Cole. Why are you apologizing? You didn’t tell. I should have been honest from the start. Maybe everyone wouldn’t be so afraid of me now. Or maybe they would.

Open Starter: Crashing Down

Cora sat near a tree by the Enchanted Lake, knees tucked up to her chest, arms wrapped around her legs to hug herself. Hot tears were close to rolling down her face, and her heart felt like it was pounding in her ears. She’d known, of course, when she came to Auradon, that this was a possibility. In fact, she’d known it was likely. She’d just always been able to put it off. But now the day had come...and Alice’s daughter was here.

Cora shuddered. She’d only just started to feel safe, and just started to feel like she might be able to make herself a proper princess- someone worthy of the queendom of Wonderland. With Quilla’s help, she’d been doing her best to fix her public image, and with Cole’s support, she’d even been starting to find the courage to maybe see a doctor for her slips. But this? This could ruin her. Sure, Cora could throw daggers with the wickedest of them, and she could be utterly terrifying when need be.

But then again, so could the Queen of Hearts. And all it took was one little girl to take everything. It felt like history was set to repeat itself. And Cora couldn’t bear that.

“I was doing so wicked,” she muttered under breath, trying to keep the tears away, “I was trying so hard-“

Just then, Cora was cut off by the sound of a twig cracking behind there. Whipping around, she demanded, “Who’s there?”

Kiss, marry, or kill: CJ, Cole, Haylie.

Uh…guys…I’m straight. Just so we’re clear. But I’ll humor you, anon:

Much as CJ drives me crazy, I don’t actually want her dead, so I wouldn’t kill her. I’d kiss her- just to get her to shut up for once.

As for Cole and Haylie, I don’t want them dead, either- so my only option here is to “kill” Haylie. Since Haylie is a demigoddess and can’t die, it all works out.

…which I guess leaves Cole for marriage.
