Flashback: two weeks ago.
Kidnapped. That was it. Someone had the bravery to infiltrate into the palace and take her away. Pirates taking the royal progenite were no news but Arielle never thought it’d happen to her. The first thing she thought was that her security needed to be strengthened more. They did not leave trays, or that was her thought. Yet she only hoped her siblings wouldn’t have the same path she got. As she got deposited on the island and on a house where Royals were living, the first thing she thought was that she was actually living a nightmare. It wasn’t her palace, and although it wasn’t a shelter, it wasn’t home.
Present day:
Two weeks has passed since the kidnapping and things weren’t getting worse yet they weren’t getting good. Or that was her belief until she got someone to watch over her. It was ridiculous, who on Earth would think on escape that place anyways? It’d be too dangerous to do it by your own. And the princess was smart enough to not do that, even though the idea crossed her mind, the possibility of doing it, it’d be too risky.
Being a princess had it perks, and being the future Queen of your country had many more. Even if she thought the idea of having someone watching over her was a little ridiculous, she was already used to it. Body guards, royal guards, back at home she was used to be watched. So when she walked down to the kitchen and saw a face that wasn’t familiar at all, she knew who he was. “Good afternoon, sir. I suppose you are a type of bodyguard to watch over me?” she asked as she went to the kitchen to put water to boil for a cup of tea.
