Joey hadn’t talked to Cameron since homecoming and if he was being honest, it was killing him. There were only a few people Joey would get by without talking to every day but Cam wasn’t one of those. The two had been best friends for a long time now and Joey felt the need to talk to him every day, even if it were only for small things like Joey asking him some stupid question or talking about his day. But ever since their small argument at the dance where Cam had left him dancing alone, Joey was upset that they hadn’t talked about it – he could see where Cam was coming from and why he was reacting that way, but he was still sad that he couldn’t talk to his best friend, especially when there was so much to talk about everything that had happened with Zane on that night, even if he wasn’t sure that Cam wanted to listen to it. So when he saw Cameron standing by his locker, Joey quickly closed his and made his way up to him, deciding it would be for the best if the two of them just talked it out – even if it was hard for Joey to confront someone like this, he was willing to do it. “I’m mad at you.” Joey said quietly once he approached Cam, looking up at him for a few moments. “Well, I’m not mad, I’m just sad… I know it didn’t seem like it at homecoming, but I was having a good night… And then that happened, and I just got confused! I don’t know, I just miss talking to you and it makes me sad.” He said, nodding his head slowly as he waited for Cam to say something, if he had anything to say at all.
