"I...I was going to tell you. I promise!"
based on this (if you like the plot but want a different fc, just message me!)
“Well, of course. We agreed to stay friends, right,” Dana nodded with an awkward smile. This was their first game night since the divorce had been finalized and honestly, she’d been dreading it all week. There was undoubtedly going to be some awkwardness, considering they’d barely spoken outside the divorce proceedings. She’d made sure of that. But, she couldn’t avoid them any longer. Not when they’d agreed to stay friends in an effort to avoid forcing their friends to pick sides or feel guilty for remaining friends with both of them.

“Scary,” Dana laughed in surprise. “Well, with a face like mine I have to have some sort of trick up my sleeve to scare people,” she joked, gesturing her face.
Dana was by no means vain. But, she was more than aware that her appearance was rather innocent and friendly looking.
“But, seriously. You’re a good person, Wes. And I just want you to know that I see you and I appreciate you.”
“I just really wanted to help a good friend plan an event. I don’t get what the big deal is.”
@wctchit said: “ i can’t not care about you ” -Wes to Dana
“That’s very sweet of you,” Dana smiled softly. “But we live so far apart that it’ll just end up hurting you,” she insisted, shaking her head. “You deserve to care for someone who will actually be around.”
suggested connection: an old flame/crush or friend she hasn’t seen in years and never expected to see again
Tonight was the high school reunion. As Dana arrived in the parking lot of the venue, she already saw a group of her old friends standing together. Getting out of her car, she locked it and walked up to the group. “Hey,” she greeted the group, butterflies dancing around in her stomach. Just as her hand reached up to brush her hair to the side, her eyes caught sight of them. Her mouth dropped open and her hand fell back to her side. “Hey,” she breathed. If she thought she was nervous before, she was positively anxious now. "H-How are you? I didn't expect to see you here," she chuckled nervously.

“Am I missing something,” Dana asks, studying the other. “I feel like something has happened and you’re not telling me what it is.” The brunette narrows her eyes at them, trying to figure out what it is that she’s not getting. “Because there’s definitely something going on and I have no idea. But you clearly do.”
