With the recent increase in number of designers joining Coogobox more questions arise: How does it work? Who gets to pick the best idea? What’s in it for designers? With this blog post we hope to address these questions!

So what really is Coogobox? 

Let’s say you have some cool product idea, however, no funds or support to develop, advance the design and manufacture it. This is where Coogobox comes in.Coogobox aims to build a community where designers can expand their capabilities, and focus on what they are best at - DESIGN! You just design a product, submit it to Coogobox and We make it real! How?! The whole process is pretty easy and straightforward: 

Step 1: Submission

You submit your 3D product design at Coogobox webpage. Easy! What’s next?

Step 2: Voting!

An online community gets to vote for your idea. Anyone can be part of the online community - your friends, family, classmates, other designers, etc. By sharing ideas with the community  and receiving feedbacks from fellow designers you also get to improve your design! The ideas that receive the most votes are then being picked for the evaluation by Coogobox.

Step 3: Evaluation

Who evaluates my idea, you may ask? The Coogobox team equipped with talented product designers and knowledgeable marketers assess every aspect of the product. We pick the best design! Every month we gather to evaluate marketing potential and feasibility of a selected product, if necessary, make adjustments and advancements to the design.  

Step 4: Testing and Manufacturing

Once the final design is determined we move forward to prototyping. At this stage we test the product to ensure proper product performance. After the prototyping phase, we to proceed to manufacturing.

Step 5: Ready to sell!

Woah! The product that you have sketched is out in the market!

At the final stage Coogobox uses all available marketing channels -Online Store, Trade Shows, Social Media Platforms and Retail Shops to market and sell your product!
