Devsis hasn't done it yet, so I took matters into my own hands and decided to reunite this estranged father-son duo because I have an insatiable need for these two to be happy
Dark Choco and Dark Cacao get therapy the comic™
"The Friends You Made" is Dark Choco's journey of healing from the wounds of his recent past. Though he no longer fights the influence of a certain cursed sword, he must rise against the demons of his past for not only his sake, but the sake of his kingdom and the entire world. Before his journey may start, however, he must face his father, the Resolute King himself...
This chapter in particular has 2 parts with 40 pages total! I finished this like a month or so ago 🤌
The story of this AU takes place some time after the events of Beast-Yeast Episodes 3-4, 7-8, & 9-10— the awakenings and implied/as seen returns of certain Ancients. I focus not only on Dark Choco's story, but there is another in parallel to him which you'll see eventually C:
First Butter who is grateful to FaB Dark Cacao for looking after his daughter and bringing her happiness.
But FaB DC is just confused on who this mysterious yet oddly kind cookie is… at first…
Until he starts to remember that kind fatherly figure that his wife spoke of a few times.

Note: First Butter didn’t abandon mystic flour on purpose but unfortunately his human body was reduced to dust and in an attempt to save him and the other witches, the witch of light turned them all into cookies.

he decided to watch over her in spirit while he waited for her to wake up from the seal.
every time the sun begins to set he would stay by her side till dusk became night.
He would wait for her for a thousand years… just to see his daughter again… and apologize for not being there when she needed him most.
