Heyyy saw you rebloged that good yugioh ask thing. So if you want to answer some 3, 7, 12, and 18
(( Hi!! Yes, thank you so much for these! ^v^ ))
Dub xD I watched the dub first when it aired in the US, because at the time I hadn’t realized I could even search the internet for the OG sub. However, around the time the Subbed Barian Onslaught was dropping, I DID find out how to watch the sub episodes and tried to do that too. But the english version is nostalgic for me, and I naturally *hear* their dubbed voices when I picture the characters saying things.
I’ll say I do loathe that they cut out a lot of content from the original simply because “americanizing it” needed to include doing away with more complex, and heavier themes - for some reason. 4kids didn’t want the potential heat from any ‘‘Karen’’ moms asdfsghdjf.
Astral and no.96 were my favorite characters from pretty much day one, so I naturally my little middle-school self quickly shipped them together. . . and I still do xD. I’m a sucky for enemies-to-lovers tropes. Almost ten years runnin’ with me still able to get feels for these two crazy boys so yeah I’d call that an OTP 😅
I don’t talk about my ships though really, except amongst my friends or anyone who genuinely wants to know, because they are few and all rarepairs.
Hmm, an interesting question! Maybe “XYZ Tribalrivals”, purely because the cover art is funny to me. Also it has “Slacker Magician” on it and I really like that XYZ monster xD
That in the unaired, scrapped concept of ZEXAL III they had a redemption arc in the storyline for Number 96. Somehow, he’d be back in the game after DonnyT’s demise, start out as a villain again and want to cause trouble, but due to a common threat in Astral World he’d slowly be forced to assist the heroes more and more. The finale would see Number 96 allowed to live and stay in Astral World, starting to find his own purpose and life amongst them.
