💰 4 things to consider before buying a new laptop 💰
📮 Processor - CPU: Celeron < Pentium < i3 < CoreM < i5 < i7. Usually, you should one from the i series that has graphic card readily installed inside. - Generation: Newer models have higher generation number. - Performance: This is to show how well the CPU performs. The higher the number the better performance it's gonna be. - Clock Rate: This is to show the CPU's processing speed on each core. The higher the number the faster it is.
📮 RAM - Beefy games and complicated designing work = RAM 16GB - Smooth multitasking = RAM 8GB - Simple word processing = RAM 4GB - Make sure you can upgrade the RAM before purchasing the laptop.
📮 Storage space You should pick SDD over HDD because despite HDDs usually have more space to store files but they are normally slower than SDDs. If you need more space later on, you can upgrade or purchase an external hard drive.
📮 Weight You are going carry you laptop around a lot so pick something that is light weighed and easy to carry around. Laptop (together with its charger and mouse) should only weigh 2KG or less for better mobility.
